Easy Chip values your satisfaction. This policy explains the rules for refunding eSIMs purchased on our website, in accordance with the Consumer Defense Code (CDC – Law 8.078/90).
1. Nature of the product
The eSIM is a digital product with immediate delivery. After payment confirmation, the installation QR code is automatically sent to your email and made available in your account on our website.
2. Return for regret (purchase without reason / non-defective return)
We accept returns of products in perfect condition, without the need for justification. According to Art. 49 of the CDC, you can cancel the purchase within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of receipt of the eSIM, provided that:
- ✅ The eSIM has not been activated / installed on the device
- ✅ The request is made in writing (email or WhatsApp)
- ✅ You provide the order number and the reason (optional)
Full refund will be processed using the same original payment method, with no fees.
⚠️ Important: once the eSIM is installed/activated on the device, it is considered “consumed” by the partner carrier and is no longer eligible for refund due to regret — except in the case of proven defect (see section 6).
3. Return for defect (defective return)
If the eSIM has a proven technical defect (invalid QR code, does not connect to the network at the destination, corrupted profile, etc.), we accept returns even after activation. In this case, we offer:
- 🔄 Immediate replacement with a new eSIM at no additional cost, OR
- 💰 Full refund via the original payment method
Deadline to request: up to 30 days after purchase.
4. How to request a refund

- Provide:
- Order number
- Email used for purchase
- Reason for the request (optional for regret)
- Wait for our team to review (up to 2 business days)
- If approved, the refund is processed using the same original payment method
5. Refund timelines
- Credit card: 1 to 2 billing cycles (according to carrier timelines)
- PIX: up to 5 business days
- PayPal: up to 5 business days
- Boleto: refund via bank transfer within 10 business days after sending account details
6. Return cost
There is no cost to the customer. Since it is a digital product (eSIM), there is no physical shipping or return fee. 100% full refund, with no deductions.
7. Situations where the refund is NOT applicable
- ❌ eSIM already installed/activated on the device (except for proven defect)
- ❌ Request made after 7 calendar days from purchase (for regret) or 30 days (for defect)
- ❌ Device incompatible with eSIM (it is the customer’s responsibility to verify before purchase — see compatibility list)
- ❌ Installation error due to not following the provided instructions
- ❌ Variable quality of 4G/5G signal at the destination (the service is provided by the local carrier; Easy Chip is an official reseller)
