- Data roaming enabled on the eSIM: required to connect to the local network at the destination.
- Main SIM for calls: keep the Brazilian SIM as the primary for voice.
- eSIM as data SIM: only after activating mobile data on the eSIM does the plan start to count.
How to activate at the destination
- Upon arriving in the country, open Settings → Sims.
- Select the eSIM "Easy Chip".
- Activate Mobile Data and Data Roaming.
- Wait a few seconds for the device to register on the local network.
- Test by opening any website.
Common problems and solutions
- QR code not scanning: increase the screen brightness where the QR is, move the camera back a few centimeters.
- "Could not download the eSIM": check if you are on Wi-Fi, restart the phone, and try again.
- No signal at the destination: activate airplane mode for 10 seconds, deactivate it, and try again. Check if "Data Roaming" is enabled on the eSIM.
- "Add eSIM" not appearing: your model may not be compatible or may be locked by the carrier. Check here.
