Check whether your phone supports eSIM
Check your exact device identifier or search its name in Airalo’s device list.
I do not know the identifier: search by device name
The check verifies hardware support, not carrier lock. Checking an identifier sends only that model identifier to Airalo. Your device is not detected automatically.
Before choosing a plan, verify that your phone supports eSIM and is unlocked. A generic model list does not confirm compatibility for your version.
- Check the exact model and manufacturing region. Versions with the same commercial name can have different eSIM support. Check with the manufacturer before buying.
- On iPhone, look for Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM. On Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM. On Pixel: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM. The menu helps you check but does not replace confirmation of the exact model.
- Your phone must be carrier-unlocked. On iPhone, check Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock for No SIM restrictions. On Android, confirm unlock status with your carrier.
- If the option is missing, the phone is carrier-locked or you are unsure about the version, contact support before buying. Do not remove or transfer your current SIM as a test.
