Examples of why generic lists can be misleading
Mexico: it should not be listed as universally visa-free for Brazilian ordinary passport holders. The Mexican consulate's instructions explain the electronic visa available from February 2026 for air travel and conditions or exceptions to check.
United Kingdom: Brazilian citizens are among the nationalities eligible to apply for an ETA. Check whether it applies to your circumstances and route; it is not a residence or work visa.
Europe: follow ETIAS on the official portal. When checked on October 11, 2026, applications are not being processed and operations are expected in the last quarter of 2026. A forecast is not an already active requirement.
Keep an offline document folder
Save your passport copy, relevant authorizations, bookings, accommodation address and departure arrangements securely. Test offline access and do not send personal data to websites imitating consular services. For multiple destinations, keep a separate checklist for each border, recording the official source consulted.
