The Brazilian passport is more powerful than many imagine: in 2026, Brazilians can visit more than 170 countries without needing a visa or with a visa issued upon arrival. This list gathers the 15 most sought-after destinations where you can travel with just a passport (and, in some cases, an electronic authorization).

With the Brazilian passport, more than 170 countries are within your reach in 2026

How does visa exemption work?

Visa is a formal authorization to enter a country. When two countries have a bilateral agreement, citizens can travel without needing to apply for a visa — just a valid passport is enough. At the immigration of the destination country, entry is authorized for a period (usually 30, 60, or 90 days).

Attention in 2026: several countries have begun to require pre-boarding electronic authorizations (this is not a visa, but it must be requested online before flying). As of April 2026, the situation is:

United Kingdom (ETA): in effect since January 2025. Cost £20 (adjusted in April 2026). Valid for 2 years.
Europe (ETIAS): expected to launch in the last quarter of 2026. Transition period until April 2027. Estimated cost of €20, valid for 3 years.
Europe (EES — Entry/Exit System): already in effect since April 10, 2026. Brazilians register biometric data (photo and fingerprints) at the Schengen border.
South Korea (K-ETA): mandatory since April 2022. Cost US$10.
USA: Brazilians are NOT in the Visa Waiver program, so ESTA does not apply. A traditional B1/B2 visa is required (total cost approximately US$459, including the new integrity fee).

Protect your trip

Travel insurance is mandatory for Europe (Schengen) and recommended for any destination. Facilita Travel Pass offers plans with complete medical coverage starting at R$ 15/day.

Internet during your trip

Regardless of the destination, you will need internet for Google Maps, translation, Uber, reservations, and communication. Roaming from the Brazilian carrier is expensive (R$ 30-100/day). The most practical alternative is an international eSIM purchased before traveling.

Check all available destinations or read our guide on how eSIM works.

Ready to choose your destination?

With so many countries accessible without a visa, the hard part is choosing. Our tip: start with a destination that does not require prior authorization (Japan, Argentina, Turkey, Morocco) to avoid relying on deadlines. Book your flight and accommodation in advance through Facilita Travel Pass, organize your insurance and internet — and have a great trip!
